Biographical information
Charlotte was born in London on February 24, 1757, and baptised just over a month later, on 28 March 1757, at St Margaret's Westminster.

She married Richard Huddleston Potter when she was 25 years of age. One assumes she must have met her husband through both their fathers - Richard Potter was a musical instrument maker who made flutes, clarinets, oboes and bassoons. Samuel Baumgarten played the bassoon, and may have been a customer of Richard Potter's.

Charlotte died, aged 79, when she was living at Euston Place, St Pancras. She was buried in the parish of St Marylebone on 21 February 1837.
